28th of Nov.

I just hope the Storyline Kit arrives by then. I can't get a confirmation date from Walrus and Carpenter at all. Australia is shocking for distribution. I am thinking that if the dollar stays strong, from now on I will order everything from the US.

Re: Eden's Legacy Storyline

Greetings!

Date of Event 12/12/09
Location Brisbane, Australia
# of Players 7
Winning Player Tony Wedd
Winning Clan Toreador Antitribu
Key Minion Anarch Convert

The finals table saw David (Tremere! toolbox) bleeding Jon Darbro (Salubri! Laibon combat) bleeding Steven Balwin (Guruhi bruise and bleed) bleeding Rolf (Karsh rush) bleeding Tony Wedd (Toreador! anarch bleed and bloat).

The game progressed as expected with the Guruhi deck finding itself sandwiched between 2 decks with what appeared to be stronger combat. Karsh tried to go forward, however the Toreador! kept bringing out more minions (with the help of Undue Influence) and rescuing torpored minions. The Tremere Anti deck bled forward, occassionally with dominate. On those particular bleeds, the Salubri anti flicked them forwards. I do believe it was a bleed from the Tremere Anti that ousted the Guruhi.

With a weak Karsh, everything seemed to be lined up for a victory for the Salubri anti, especially once he flicked another big dominate bleed into a defenceless Karsh deck. A couple more bleeds from the Salubri anti and Karsh was ousted.

Then the Toreador! lunged forward and ousted the Tremere!. Although the Salubri anti deck was strong and had plenty of pool, the Anarch Toreador anti's had some 6+ minions and could bloat easily with Undue Influence and Art Scam. It was close, but I think the greater number of minions secured victory for Tony.

Congratulations to Tony Wedd for yet another storyline win. Tony's key minion, the Anarch Convert, did secure at least 1 VP on the final's table.
