Sydney tournament - Sunday August 2nd
Hi All,
There will be a tournament at Good Games on
Sunday August 2nd.

As an incentive to get people to turn up, there will be $50 prize support if more than 10 people show up to play!

Thanks to everyone for turning up to the tournament on Sunday especially the brisbane crew for making the trip down, making it 13 people total.
There were a lot of Auspex decks on the day. No games finished quickly but only 1 table out of 6 table timed out in the prelim rounds.
The final table was:
Tony Wedd (weenie animalism combat w/ some Auspex block/intercept)
Steve Harris (!Ventrue toolbox)
Me (Ravnos dementation bleed)
Leon (Anarch Tzimisce block/combat)
Ivor Blockley (Tremere)
The game built up slow.I would normally try to bleed fast with my deck but thought I might get blocked/torpored easily by Leon's combat wall.
Leon could only get two minions out as Tony was playing some Tzimisce as well.
Tony influenced out a few minions putting some pressure on Steve, but most bleeds were flicked.
I took a few dominate bleeds to drop to low pool and after a Pentex Subversion on my minion decided to go for a VP before I died. I contested the Pentex so I could act and Leon had run out of wake from
blocking Ivor's flicked bleeds and was ousted.
This 6 pool gained only meant I survived a couple of turns more of bleeds from Steve. There was then about 20 minutes remaining in which Ivor bled Tony out after he finally ran out of wakes. Giving Steve the
win based on prefinal standings.
